Kellen - Founder & CEO

Kellen is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in educational software, custom software solutions, and collaboration with organizations. Throughout his career, he has excelled in understanding the unique needs of clients and delivering tailored software solutions that enhance learning and operational outcomes. Kellen works closely with stakeholders to manage custom software projects, ensuring smooth discovery, development, and implementation processes. His work bridges the gap between technical teams and customers, focusing on improving engagement, refining processes, and fostering innovation.

Kellen’s background reflects his expertise in helping educational institutions adopt and scale technology solutions, with a strong focus on fostering equity in education. He has worked extensively with higher education leaders and executives to ensure that technology solutions are accessible and tailored to the diverse needs of learners. His collaborative approach and commitment to improving processes have been central to driving innovation and success in educational technology.

At the center of his work in founding Newtron, he led the design of an application that simplifies the ability for schools to deliver courses inside Correctional Facilities, aligning with his mission to expand access to education. Additionally, Newtron created tools designed to support organizations in delivering educational content for free, reinforcing the goal of making education accessible to all, particularly underserved populations.

Outside of his professional life, Kellen enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog Coach Beard, fly fishing, and attending live music and sporting events.

Ed - Founder & CTO

Bringing over 17+ years of engineering expertise to the table, Ed has worked with Fortune 100 companies like Staples, Dish Network, and Comcast, leading the development of billing systems and customer support software solutions. With a diverse background, he has spent 8 years in the healthcare industry, integrating complex systems such as Health Information Exchanges, medical claims, and state vaccination systems amongst many others. His experience extends to the maintenance industry, agriculture, and veterinary space, where he has contributed to innovative solutions.

Ed is passionate about building products from concept to large-scale usage, ensuring every aspect of the process is carefully crafted. One of his notable achievements includes developing a Telehealth platform at the onset of COVID-19, which enabled thousands of providers to deliver critical psychological services remotely. He also created an integration platform as a service, empowering users to build integrations on their own, and is behind a patent-pending product in the maintenance industry that leverages AI and cutting-edge technologies.

In his downtime, Ed enjoys the outdoors with his family and tends to a variety of plant species as part of his gardening hobby. He is also passionate about paying it forward in the education space, helping others grow through knowledge and empowering the next generation to reach their full potential. Ed’s dedication to sharing his expertise reflects his belief in the power of education to transform lives and industries.
